Kindergarten "Piccolino"
The non-public kindergarten "Piccolino" was established on August 30, 2011 in the town of Głubczyce in south-western Poland. In the beginning, "Piccolino" functioned as a children's club and half-day kindergarten. Today it is a nursery for children aged 1-3 and a kindergarten for children aged 3-6.
"Piccolino" is one of the four kindergartens in Głubczyce, recognized by the local community as an innovative early education facility that provides excellent conditions for the comprehensive development of each child. Individual educational activities are aimed at the full development of the child's personality and the best possible preparation of the child to start school. In addition, it pays special attention to promoting healthy lifestyle habits, including proper nutrition and physical activity. "Piccolino" is a recognized and well-known kindergarten for a variety of extracurricular activities, including gymnastics, English, introduction to mathematics (Montessori method), chess, introduction to coding and robotics, and art classes.
Offering such a rich program is possible thanks to participation in several projects on improving the quality of education - "Development of key competences and staff training" (2018), "Bi-lingual Piccolino" and "Key to knowledge". As a fully licensed kindergarten, it implements the basis program of pre-school education created by the Ministry of Education and Science. The activities of ECEC (Early Childhood Education and Care) are strongly supported in "Piccolino". The kindergarten supports the comprehensive development of students and prepares them for further education. Innovative teaching methods are implemented through a wide range of games and play.
