Results of a study on postural defects in children.
In connection with the start of the POSE project, we conducted a survey among preschool teachers. Below we present the conclusions drawn on the basis of the respondent's answers.
The study showed that teachers are aware of what posture defects are and what consequences they can cause in later life of children. On a daily basis, preschool teachers use various methods to prevent postural defects in children and list the sources from which they draw their knowledge in this area. At the same time, the respondents do not feel competent enough to conduct corrective classes with children. 40% of teachers do not use educational resources, but all of them are interested in using innovative educational resources in the field of posture prevention.
