Kindergarten 136 "Slavia"

Kindergarten 136 "Slavia" was founded in 1964 in the capital of Bulgaria - Sofia. The kindergarten employs 16 teachers, a psychologist, two nurses and 16 non-teaching educators. The kindergarten is managed by the headmaster and funded by Sofia Municipality.

The kindergarten and the teaching staff believe in the philosophy that each child is unique, which is why they strive to build a personal identity and develop the child's potential. At work, they focus on the well-being of each child and prepare them for their first steps at school.

The main form of pedagogical activities are games and physical activities. The educational process takes place mainly in the form of games, and children have the opportunity to learn about the world around them through access to nature. The facility has 8 acres of green yard with playgrounds for children and cultivation of its own bio-garden with vegetables, flowers and herbs. They pay special attention to the importance of children's health and movement as a foundation for development. During the day, children have the opportunity to participate in various sports activities: football, handball, swimming, dancing, yoga. Kindergarten facilities include its own swimming pool and football field.
